What We Do
Cans2Care is an organization dedicated to helping both the environment and the underserved communities we live in. We collect aluminum cans through community efforts, local events, and partnerships with residential communities and businesses.
The collected cans are taken to a local recycling facility, where they are recycled and exchanged for proceeds. 100% of the proceeds are used to purchase hygiene kits for people in need, with no profit taken by Cans2Care.
Hygiene kits will be distributed to community members who need them. To maintain transparency, our distributions and spending will be shared through our social media platforms and a live tracker, allowing the community to see how the funds raised through recycling are being used.
Why We Do It
Protecting our environment for future generations and supporting the people in our community are our utmost priorities. We believe access to basic hygiene supplies can play an important role in maintaining personal health, dignity, and well being. That is why we turn recycled aluminum cans into resources that can provide hygiene kits to people who need them.
