Ali Otaifah founded Cans2Care with a simple question: Why recycle to help the environment when the impact can go even further? He wanted to turn the value of recycled aluminum into something that could directly help people in need. The earnings from collected cans are used to provide hygiene kits for underserved members of the community, creating a way to care for both the environment and the people around us.

Chief Marketing & Communications Officer (CMCO)

Sikandar Shams joined Cans2Care with a strong belief that everyone deserves dignity, compassion, and access to life's basic necessities. Inspired by its mission of turning recycled cans into essential hygiene supplies for people in need, he saw an opportunity to help turn everyday kindness into meaningful action.

As Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, Sikandar leads efforts to share Cans2Care's mission, grow its social media presence, and connect with community members and local businesses. His focus is on building trust, encouraging participation, and showing how each contribution supports the people Cans2Care serves. Through his work, he hopes to bring people together around a shared purpose, helping others feel valued, supported, and remembered.
